Cheol-Woong meets Du-Hak who is undergoing questioning at the prosecutor’s office. Du-Hak questions what Cheol-Woong was so surprised about after hearing the news. Cheol-Woong takes Du-Hak out and postpones the inspection to complete the funeral process for Du-Hak’s father. Du-Hak’s mother wept as she watched her son after he stood guard alone at the funeral home. Meanwhile, Jung-Shin hatches a plan to help Du-Hak and turns to Cheol-Woong for help.
