A mother and her little daughter are reunited after many years of estrangement. The girl is unaware that it is her atrocious father who brought about their unwilled separation that led to a life of perennial suffering. Although the child is craving for motherly affection, her mother is beset with brain damage and trauma from a bitter past that may prove her unfit to raise a daughter.
